BTRC IPDR retention & compliance

IPDR retention, handled — not just filed away.

We help Bangladeshi ISPs, IIGs and telecom operators capture, retain, and produce Internet Protocol Detail Records the way BTRC expects — without building and babysitting the logging infrastructure yourselves.

The requirement

Log retention isn't optional — but building it in-house is expensive to get right.

Under BTRC regulation, ISPs and telecom operators in Bangladesh are required to capture and retain Internet Protocol Detail Records — structured metadata on subscriber sessions, source and destination IPs, timestamps, and protocol usage — and produce them on lawful request.

Doing that reliably means running always-on collectors across your network edge, storing records securely for the full retention period, and being able to retrieve the right records fast when an authority asks. Most operators don't have the spare engineering time to build and maintain that themselves — and getting it wrong isn't a small mistake.

How it works

From your network edge to an audit-ready record.

Four steps, running continuously in the background so your team isn't the one watching the logs.

01 / Collect

Capture at the source

Lightweight collectors sit at your network edge and record session metadata as it happens — no packet content, just the required fields.

02 / Normalize

Standardize the format

Records are structured into a consistent, auditable format regardless of which network gear generated them.

03 / Retain

Store for the full window

Encrypted, tamper-evident storage for the full retention period, with access limited to authorized requests.

04 / Produce

Report on request

When a lawful request comes in, pull the exact records needed — by subscriber, time window, or IP — without a manual search.

The platform

Built around what regulators and network teams each need.

One system, two audiences: your engineers keep it running quietly, and compliance can answer a request without paging anyone.

Vendor-agnostic capture

Works across common router, CMTS, and BNG deployments without re-architecting your network.

Tamper-evident storage

Encrypted at rest, with an audit trail on every access — so a produced record can be trusted as unaltered.

Retention enforcement

Records are held for exactly the required window — nothing purged early, nothing kept longer than it should be.

Fast lawful-request lookup

Search by subscriber ID, IP, or time window and produce a report in minutes, not a manual grep through raw logs.

Capacity that scales with traffic

Collection and storage scale with subscriber growth, so a busy quarter doesn't mean dropped records.

Operates alongside your stack

Deployed as a layer on top of your existing network — your team keeps its current tools and workflows.
